Gypsy Rose Studio opened in June of 2006 by James Ann Barlean with Jeff Thrash.
James Ann has been tattooing since 2001, and Jeff has been piercing since 2003.
James Ann trained with Fakir Musafar in San Fransisco in a Branding Internship,
and has tattooed in Europe.
Jeff trained to do surface anchors in Atlanta, Ga. with Bethra and her crew at Virtue & Vice.
Gypsy Rose offers 1,000's of designs to choose from and totally custom work is
available - your idea or ours. We offer tattooing, cosmetic tattooing, piercing, surface anchoring and
branding in a professional, clean, friendly and fun atmosphere. We are a laid
back shop - you're never rushed through. We're about providing quality, not quantity;
we're creative, not corporate.

SPECIAL THANKS:
Opening my own studio was a big deal for me and I feel like
I should say thank you to some very important people. First of all...the biggest
and most special thanks to my Mom and Dad who have supported me in this (& all
things) in every way. I can honestly say that without them my shop wouldn't be
possible. (I love you Mom & Dad!) Thanks to my little brother and all the
friends that pitched in with the remodeling of the space. Thanks to all my friends
and customers who have really "shown up" for me in a big way. And a
special thanks to Jeff for putting in the long hours with me, for taking such
good care of me (& taking a chance), and for just being the best! I am so
